Nick Schmidt is a published photographer and global communications specialist with a versatile skill set and extensive interest in exploring the world through visuals. In both a personal and professional sense, Nick enjoys learning about culture, travel, and research that aspires to understand the world, and everything in it.

In his photography, Nick has contributed to digital content projects of multiple publications, including Travel + Leisure, a publication under Dotdash Meredith, the largest digital and print publisher in America.

In addition to his photography work, Nick has undertaken a variety of tasks for many  communications projects, including collecting and editing videos, developing newsletters, producing social media content, and conceptualizing visual communications plans in his current role as a Global Communications Specialist.

With college education in geography and communications, along with experience in multiple professional roles, Nick has developed a unique skill set that includes photography, photo research, video editing, research and science communication, and a genuine interest in how people and places connect across the world.
